Overview ( Eicher Pro 6048 review )
Eicher Pro 6048 is a 16 Wheeler truck. It is a 48-tonne rigid haulage truck. It has a quite good fuel efficiency with a fully suspended cabin. It has a VEDX8 7.7 liters CRS engine with SCR Technology which makes it quite demanding in its segment.
If we talk about the axle configuration, the truck has 10X2 axle configuration with a quite long chassis and truck is available with long cargo options. This truck is available in 2 cargo body options – 28 Feets and 30 Feet. The rear axle in this truck is Eicher 458 mm diameter twin tire pusher lift axle and lift axle is Twin Tyre pusher lift axle with Pneumatic suspension.
Long cargo body ( Eicher Pro 6048 review )
In this article, we will discuss 30 feet long cargo body configuration. Talking about the Diesel tank, the truck has a diesel tank capacity of 350L with AdBlue tank capacity of 33L. Diesel tank is made up of plastic polymer which is quite durable and rust-free.

Tires and suspension ( Eicher Pro 6048 review )
If we look at the tires, front tires specifications are of 295X80 R22.5 tubeless and rear tires specifications are of 10R20 65 rating tube type. Tubeless tires options are also available in the rear part. The Truck comes with 16+1 tires.
If we look at the suspension in the front part we get semi-elliptical with shock absorber Variable rate leaf spring and in the rear part, we get Bell crank suspension. The wheelbase of the truck is 6600 mm with a ground clearance of 262 mm and the overall width is 2481 mm.
Body
The company fitted cargo body is quite a robust steel body that can allow you decent payload capacity. Sleeper cabin is also available in this truck with a window option for air ventilation and sunlight. The Chasis of this truck is domex frame chassis which is quite durable as promised by Eicher company. The maximum speed of this truck is 80 Km/hr with a gradability of 23%.

Brakes and safety
The Truck comes with ABS with an air brake exhaust brake. Seat belts and reverse parking buzzer features are also available in this truck. Safety guards are available for battery and diesel tanks.
Other specs
The Truck has an electrical connection of 24Volts. The cabin has a hydraulic tilt option for inspection purposes. As the cabin is quite high, the company has given a three-step ladder to easily step up to the driver seat. Good quality control is given to lift up the windows. Fabrics used for seat is also quite good along with a headrest and thigh support. The cabin is fully suspended with an optional AC and instrument cluster. Driver seats are 6-way adjustable seats and power steering comes with tilt stereoscopic power steering functionality.
The cruise control option is also given in the truck to make a long journey comfortable. M booster technology is used in this truck which is common in most modern trucks these days. With the help of M booster technology, the truck can be switched to Eco and power mode for optimum mileage as per the payload conditions.
